testroute.co.uk provides video footage, interactive maps, and information about the roads surrounding DVSA driving test centres in England. Our content is designed to help learner drivers familiarise themselves with the road network around their test centre before their practical driving test.

testroute.co.uk does not provide official DVSA examiner routes. The roads and routes shown on our platform are based on our own field research, local driving instructor knowledge, and community contributions. We cannot and do not guarantee that our content reflects the specific route an examiner will take on any given test.

testroute.co.uk is a preparation tool. It is not a substitute for professional driving instruction, and using our service does not guarantee any particular test outcome.

It is your responsibility to ensure that any road you choose to practise on is safe, legal, and suitable to drive. Always follow current traffic laws, signage, and road conditions. testroute.co.uk accepts no responsibility for your driving decisions or behaviour on the road.

Some features of testroute.co.uk require you to create an account. When you register, you agree to provide accurate information and to keep your login credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have your parent's or guardian's permission to use our service.

We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these terms or if we reasonably believe your account is being misused.

testroute.co.uk offers both free and paid access. Free access includes basic route information and maps for every test centre. Paid access unlocks additional features including full video walkthroughs, junction-by-junction breakdowns, and practice tools.

Paid access is available as a one-time purchase. Prices are displayed on our website in pounds sterling (GBP) and include VAT where applicable. Payments are processed securely through our payment provider.

testroute.co.uk provides access to digital content. Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, you have the right to cancel a purchase of digital content within 14 days, provided you have not yet accessed the content.

At checkout, you will be asked to give your explicit consent to access the digital content immediately and to acknowledge that doing so means you lose your right to cancel. Once you have accessed the content, your purchase is final and no refund will be issued.

This does not affect your statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If the digital content is faulty or not as described, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, or refund as provided by law.

You agree not to:

testroute.co.uk may offer features that allow you to submit route information, tips, or corrections. By submitting content, you grant testroute.co.uk a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to use, modify, and display your contributions as part of our service.

You retain ownership of your submissions. You confirm that any content you submit is your own, does not infringe anyone else's rights, and is accurate to the best of your knowledge. We may review, edit, or remove community submissions at our discretion.

All content on testroute.co.uk — including video footage, maps, route data, graphics, text, and software — is owned by or licensed to testroute.co.uk and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Your purchase grants you a personal, non-transferable, non-exclusive licence to access and use our content for your own private, non-commercial driving test preparation. This licence does not include any right to copy, download (except where expressly permitted by the platform), or redistribute our content.

We make every effort to ensure the information on testroute.co.uk is accurate and up to date. Our content is based on genuine fieldwork — we personally visit test centres and drive the surrounding roads. However:

• We do not provide official DVSA examiner routes. Our content reflects the road network around each test centre based on our research, but we cannot predict or guarantee which specific roads an examiner will use on any given test.
• Road layouts, traffic conditions, and test centre operations can change at any time. While we monitor and update our content, there may be a delay between a real-world change and our update.
• Passing your driving test depends on your driving ability, not on your knowledge of any particular route.

Our service is provided "as is". To the fullest extent permitted by law, we make no representations or warranties regarding the completeness, accuracy, reliability, or fitness for any particular purpose of our content. You acknowledge that your use of testroute.co.uk is at your own risk.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

Subject to the above, testroute.co.uk shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our service, including but not limited to:

• The outcome of any driving test
• Decisions made based on information provided through our service
• Any loss, damage, or injury resulting from following or practising any route shown on our platform
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunities
• Service interruptions, technical issues, or inaccurate content

Our total liability to you for any claims arising from or related to these terms or your use of testroute.co.uk shall not exceed the total amount you have paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

Our collection and use of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms. We process personal data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.
