Fuel our platformwith the roads you know
Send us a whole route, or just one spot: a junction that catches pupils out, or a road that changed last month. Pick your centre and choose which.
Nothing is published without one of us reading it first.
Find yours, then tell us what you drove
Every green dot is a centre we have filmed. Pick one and the map takes you there, with that centre as your start point.
What we do with a route once it arrives
Every route that comes in is compared with the ones we have already filmed at that centre. When a pattern shows up in what people send, or a route turns up that we have never seen, we go back out and update it.
A person reads it, not a filter
Your route joins a queue that one of us opens by hand. It is not on the site, nobody else can see it, and your name is on it only if you asked for that.
Nothing on this site was ever published straight from a form, and this is where that starts.
It gets matched against every route we hold
Whole route against whole route, not road by road. Most turn out to be a variant of one we have filmed. The two worth acting on are the variant that keeps returning, and the route matching nothing.
A single difference is noise. The same difference three times is a route that has moved.
Patterns send us back out
One person taking a different turning is noise. Five taking the same one is a route that has moved, so we drive it again. A route matching nothing we hold is one we never knew existed.
Every one of those happened because somebody sent something in. None of them happens on its own.
